In 1980 the department of engineering and Islamic architecture was established in the Faculty of Science Alttbiqa and the engineering and the department includes many of the geometric specializations . And in the year of 1980 the acceptance of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was issued - memorizer are Allah with the departments transfer of engineering and the Islamic architecture to the Faculty of Engineering and the Islamic architecture, and the move of all specializations with relation took place from the previous faculty to the Faculty of Engineering and the Islamic architecture by the whole of its units and their students and the teaching staff members. The parts are Alalimia;
 

The faculty includes now the parts Alalimia Altala:

  1. The Islamic architecture department.

  2. The electrical engineering department.

  3. The mechanical engineering department.

  4. The civil engineering department.

  5. The computer engineering department.

King Faisal University has two campuses one in Dammam and the other in Hofuf (Al Ahsa ) in Saudi Arabia. King Faisal University in Al Ahsa was established in the year 1975. It was King Faisal who initiated the idea of establishment. The university was set up under the guidance of prince Fahd.

The Hofuf campus in Al Hasa has an alumni office, recreational centers, health services, symposiums and conference rooms. The faculties include Animal Resources, Veterinary medicine and Agriculture.

King Faisal University in Al Ahsa aims at imparting modern educational methods to the learners. The studies are also developed in a way as to help fulfill local environmental needs.
