The Department of Architecture and Interior Architecture offers programmers for the professions of architecture and interior architecture. The architecture courses are accredited by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA). The purpose is to provide a substantial architectural education that integrates philosophical and pragmatic knowledge leading to the Bachelor of Architectural Science (Architectural Science), the Bachelor of Architecture and the Bachelor of Arts (Interior Architecture). They also offer masters and doctorate degrees in both architecture and interior architecture related fields with tuition from experienced supervisors.

The Bachelor of Architecture program provides academic education and practical experience leading to professional qualifications in architecture. It requires full time attendance for five years with six months practical experience that must be completed prior to the Graduation Project.

There are two central goals. The primary goal of the program is to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and techniques needed for the design, documentation and administration of building construction. A more general goal is to provide students with an all-round general problem-solving education. Lectures and practical sessions cover theoretical knowledge in the following areas:
